 Dubach Racing Development (DrD)

 

 

Performance Exhaust (Step System)

The  DR.D's Step System allows for a more efficient intake stroke. It does this by resisting the reflective exhaust pulse during the intake/exhaust overlap. In plain language, the carefully tuned steps in the system allow for a lower net cylinder pressure, which give gives a crisper throttle response from bottom to top. Dyno tests show a 3.6 horse power increase at peak.

The DR. D Step System exhaust is manufactured from high-quality, 304-series, stainless steel. The muffler is constructed out of 6063 aluminum to lower the overall weight of the system and provide for an aggressive, but pleasant, exhaust note. The DR. D Step System is 25 percent lighter than the stock YZ250F exhaust and 50 percent lighter than the stock WR250F exhaust system.

Quiet Core

The quiet core reduces the noise level of the DrD system to ~96-97 dB to be AMA sound compliant without significant reduction in performance.

Site Window

The site window replaces the neutral switch. It allows visual inspection of the oil level in the cranckcase and transmission. This part is especially useful on bikes that have been converted to wet sump.

RG3 suspension services (revalves and setup) bring to the customer the tailored setup of his or her liking. Information from the customer is gathered and applied to a database derived from countless hours of testing. No generic charts or general suspension settings. A setting is chosen for the customer that is unique to the application. The goal is a ride that is plush and supple on small choppy bumps yet becomes progressively stiffer as it compresses into the suspension travel.

Triple Clamp

The RG3 triple clamps utilize a unique, system (patent pending) that, unlike any other clamp on the market, provides all the advantages of a rubber-mounted system without the disadvantages. Rubber mount points stabilize the bar clamps while absorbing shock and vibration that would otherwise be transmitted to the rider's hands. The likelihood of armpump and rider fatigue is greatly reduced as is the tendency to twist the bar mounts in the advent of a fall or hard landings.

 ASV Rotator Clamp

 

ASV introduces the Rotator Clamp, a revolutionary new concept that protects your lever and brake master cylinder from vertical impact damage. It replaces the stock half clamp on the back of your brake master cylinder. The ASV Rotator Clamp features an integrated Nylon sleeve between the clamp and your handlebar that allows your master cylinder/brake lever to rotate upon impact. It protects your lever and master cylinder from damage, even when fully tightened. When your lever/master cylinder does rotate out of harms way, you can simply move it back to the correct position with your hand! Now you can adjust your lever position without tools, and protect your lever! The ASV Rotator Clamp is CNC Machined from 6061 Billet Aluminum, features a precision injection-molded Nylon bar sleeve, and two custom, chromoly, hand polished, zinc plated and re-polished metric hex cap screws for a factory look.

Pro-Perch

Machined from aircraft grade aluminum for unmatched strength. On-the-fly star adjuster for easy adjustments. Forged lever has sealed ball bearings for ultra-smooth lever pull. Teflon sleeve allows perch to rotate (or spin on bar) in a crash or tip-over. Rubber boots keep out dirt and grime.

Axle Hex Extender

The Axle Hex Extender has two main functions: it allows you to tighten your front axle without using the pinch bolts - preventing wheel yaw and its associated oblique tortional load on wheel bearings - a bad thing! Secondly, it gives you a little extra to grab onto while doing wheel maintenance - making the process easier and faster. Installs by pressing extender into the blind end of the axle - aluminum punch to install with a mallet is included.

Chain Adjuster Blocks

Not just for enduro, these are for anyone who wants hassle-free chain adjustment, and tire removal/installation. The blocks are carved from billet aluminum and laser etched so that you can actually “see” your adjustment. They stay in position when you remove the wheel, and there is no secondary locking nut for chain adjustment. The ZTR kit comes with an axle pointer and handle to make wheel removal and installation a breeze. Aluminum cylinder provides a soft-faced set tool for installing the pointer

Wheel Spacers

Why replace your perfectly good stock wheel spacers? Because the factory designed them to fall in the dirt. The Zip-Ty Wheel Spacers stay put during wheel installation, are lighter than stock, and have that factory look. These spacers in combination with ZTR’s Chain Adjuster Blocks make rear wheel maintenance virtually fun. A favorite with motocrossers too!

Fuel Mixture Screw

If you own one of the modern four-stokes with the Keihin FCR carb, then you know their off-idle acceleration is temperamental when ambient conditions like temperature, humidity, and altitude change. And, you know what a pain it is to adjust the stock mixture screw on the FCR carburetor. The solution is adjustment when conditions change, and the Zip-Ty Fuel Screw allows fast and easy adjustment. The new FMS01s are carved from 7075 T7 Aluminum for improved tensile strength and have a redesigned tip taper and seating shoulder to accommodate the newest (3rd generation) Keihins. They feature a knurled forend for easy grip, anodizing for longevity, and laser etching for adjustment accuracy. The Zip-Ty Racing screw allows you to fine tune your bike easily and quickly with just your fingers - trail or track side. Specific ZTR Screw available for both models of FCR carburetor.

Air Filter Cage Ring

Air Filter Cage Ring - Fits most motorcycles with a standard nylon cage whose bolt receiver end has an o.d. of 13mm. Some chamfering of the cage may be necessary for fitment - especially, the older the bike is.
The Air Filter Cage Ring installs on the air filter cage where the bolt slides through, and increases the surface area between the foam filter and the cage. Increased surface area means confidence that your motor isn't going to suck a ton of dirt. Cheap insurance!

Chain Adjuster Extenders

Rear Chain Adjust Extender Bolts- Fits m8 x 1.25 studs. Run your rear wheel further back without harm to your chain adjustment bolts. These anodized aluminum collars thread over your adjuster bolts to prevent them from bending under increased torque loads.

Case Saver

Have you ever wadded your chain in the countershaft area? It’s a scary thing knowing an engine case could have been destroyed so easily. Zip-Ty’s Case Saver works on the principles of being tough, yet slippery. Instead of contributing to the problem of entangling the chain in the countershaft area - like metal guards, ZTR’s guard is so slippery, it gives the chain a fighting chance to exit the area without catastrophic damage to your engine cases.

Neutral Switch Replacement

Neutral Switch Cover Replacement fits all of the YZFs Get rid of all the unnecessary wires that dead-end into your loom by replacing them with ZTR’s trick piece of CNC aluminum.

Yamaha Engine Covers

These are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, Engine covers are offered as a durable specialized replacement for original parts. They are offered in anodized colors blue, red, gold, green, and black and are supplied 2 per set (1 large, 1 small).

Oil Fill Cap

This item is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum the oil fill cap is offered as a durable replacement part for plastic oil fill caps. The design of the oil fill cap allows for easy finger tightening and removal. Three lugs allow for three finger gripping. The lead in barrel at the front of the threads  insures proper and simple alignment. Oil fill caps are offered in anodized colors blue, red, gold, green, and black and are supplied with a new O-ring.

  • This kit is for serious racers only and should be installed by a professional mechanic. Kit includes all necessary parts

NOTE: Oil must be changed every hour of running time due to cutting the oil volume the oil gets contaminated quicker.
